In New York, yoga is hard to miss, between the sessions in Bryant Park and the throngs of girls carrying mats around with them as they powerwalk the streets and subways. I was a regular yogi back in the city but the one time I tried it here was at my home in Roccafranca and my host brother and sister kept crawling on me and saying, “Sarah, gymnastiques? Sarah, look!” And I’d watch them attempt a feet on the floor headstand or a makeshift downward dog. So I decided to actually search out an actual yoga studio in every country I visit so I can actually relax and hold poses properly.
